iFAS V4 Detailed Planning combines order planning and process planning with production-oriented scheduling functions.

Last-minute changes or technical malfunctions can lead to missed deadlines or downtimes. These losses arise when orders and handling processes are insufficiently transparent and manageable. The possibilities of iFAS V4 Detailed Planning go a long way towards remedying this deficit.

Detailed planning supports this, because attention is really focused on these plants, and gaps can be optimally filled. Grouping similar products together is a good idea whenever setup and/or retooling costs involve large timeframes. In addition to standard planning, iFAS V4 includes a detailed planning feature for production lines. While standard planning considers the entire work list for the entire time axis, the detailed planning restricts the view to certain critical capacity points where the resources are of great significance. The time frame in detailed planning is also shorter, and ranges from days to weeks according to the industry. Planning data is easily changed and is available at once in the system.
